Lukasz Sasnal

Hey Academy Families!

I’m Łukasz Sasnal, originally from Poland, where I built my volleyball experience as both a player and a coach. I worked with youth teams in my hometown and had the opportunity to serve as an assistant coach with a professional women’s team competing in Poland’s top league, the Tauron Liga.

I also worked with the Polish Boys National Team Development Program, helping young athletes reach their volleyball goals—whether that meant playing professionally, representing Poland on the national team, or continuing their careers at the NCAA level.

I’ve been part of the Academy family since the 2021–2022 season, and I’m incredibly grateful for all the opportunities this club has given me. Every season I’ve coached at Academy, my teams have qualified for Junior Nationals, and we’ve earned multiple medals at both local tournaments and national qualifiers. Some of my favorite accomplishments include:

🥈 13 National North – USA Division
🥉 14 National West – National Division

At the end of the day, though, I’m proudest of much more than medals. The smiles, the growth, the friendships, and the memories we create together are what make coaching so special. Watching athletes develop both on and off the court—and having former players continue to reach out long after their club careers are over—is the most rewarding part of what I do.
