Shayna Crawford

Hi there! My name is Shayna Crawford.

I was born and raised here in the Bay Area and started playing volleyball at 12 years old. After trying every sport, I quickly fell in love with volleyball and begged my parents to let me play club. I went on to study Communications and played club at San Jose State University as a setter.

After college, I coached at City Beach Volleyball Club for 4 years. When COVID hit, I started in on dog training and started to compete my dogs in their own sports. Since retiring my dog from sports in 2025, I decided it was time to return to volleyball.

I have been a coach for Academy of Volleyball since 2025 coaching on both the girls and boys teams. I am excited to be coaching the next generation of athletes!

Go Academy!
