Letizia Aquilino

Hello Academy Parents and Players,

My name is Letizia Aquilino, but on the court I’m Coach Lety!

I grew up in Italy competing in both indoor and beach volleyball, and at just 14 years old I became the youngest player ever to join a Serie A roster, training alongside professionals every day. I went on to represent my region in national beach volleyball tournaments and play Serie B before moving to the U.S., where I competed as an NCAA Division I athlete in both indoor and beach volleyball for four years.

I enjoy working with young athletes, through clinics, practices, group and private lessons, and watching them grow and believe in themselves fills my heart.

I’m here to build strong players and even stronger people. Volleyball gave me so much, and I can’t wait to give that back to every athlete at this club.
