Letizia Aquilino

Hello Academy Parents and Players,

I’m Letizia “Coach Lety” Aquilino, and I’m so excited to be coaching at Academy this season!
I played NCAA Division I indoor and beach volleyball for four years, and before coming to the U.S. I played in Italy, representing my region in national beach volleyball tournaments and competing in indoor volleyball in Serie B.
A fun fact about me: when I was just 14 years old, I became the youngest player ever to join a Serie A roster and practice with pro players!
Volleyball has always been such a big part of my life, and I can’t wait to share my love for the game, help players build confidence, and have fun learning and growing together this season.
